Computer glasses

All members of staff at the University of Copenhagen who regularly work at computer screens are entitled to eye tests and computer glasses if necessary.

The eye test and computer glasses must be paid for by the section or the department.

The eye test may have two outcomes:

1. Perhaps you simply need reading glasses or glasses to relieve eye strain. If the lens power is identical to the lens power of the glasses needed for computer work, your glasses will, under the law, be private glasses for which you must pay yourself.
2. If, on the other hand, the lens power of your reading glasses and your computer glasses differ, you are entitled to computer glasses for which LIFE will pay.
