Human Resources is in charge of personnel administration for LIFE staff in close cooperation with LIFE’s departments. In short we’re involved in everything from recruitment to dismissal.
Human Resources has developed LIFE’s own mid-level management and project management courses and we offer a wide range of staff development measures, e.g. facilitation and input for group seminars. Recruiting managers, management training and personnel policy is also our concern.
The pay policy and the annual pay negotiations at LIFE is coordinated by Human Resources.
We are secretary to the Faculty Collaboration Committee, the Clothing Committee and the Apprentice Educational Committee.
Together with personnel administrators we have formed a network - we meet six times a year to discuss topics of current interest.
