International Study Environment Award
At the annual Commemoration Ceremony in November, the University of Copenhagen will grant an award to an initiative which strengthens the international study environment at the University. The aim is to attract and retain brilliant international students at the University for the benefit of both students and teachers at the University of Copenhagen - and in the long term the benefit of the Danish knowledge society in general.
Last year's winner was the LIFE Students' Association (In Danish 'De studerendes Råd' (DSR)) at LIFE.
Who can be nominated?
The prize is awarded to a an individual or a unit (e.g. a study board/department/faculty/student organisation) at the University of Copenhagen who has done something extraordinary to improve the international study environment. Besides the honour of winning, the award also comes with DKK 100,000. The money, which is sponsored by the Danish Bankers Association, must be used to further improve the international study environment at the University of Copenhagen.
Students and staff are welcome to send in reasoned nominations of individuals/units at the University to be considered for the award. It is possible to nominate your own unit.
