The fight against poverty bears fruit!

On 9 September Danida and the UN are launching The Worlds Greatest News campaign.

 

LIFE wants to participate in spreading the good news. Since 1990 the amount of people living below the poverty line has decreased from 46 to 27 %. Furthermore 9 out of 10 children in developing countries are able to complete at least a full course of primary schooling. These examples are just few among many illustrating the great progress. The support to some of the poorest people in the world can make a difference.

 

On 9 September volunteers are celebrating that the fight against poverty bears fruit by handing out free fruit to people passing by on the street.
