There is no time like the present to learn about the past, and therefore the University is proud to present an entire website dedicated to the University’s impressive 531 year history.

 

The full Danish website has over 100 references in a comprehensive University history encyclopaedia, but there is also a great deal of new information available for English readers, which is presented through the University's English introduction site. For instance, you can check out important years in KU’s history, a list of KU’s Nobel laureates and the e-book “The University of Copenhagen”.
