News from the Chairman
Dear all
I wish all our new members in our student union FN a warm welcome. We are pleased that so many have joined FN. And this year we also have a lot of internationals students among our new members, which is a great pleasure. This is our newsletter and it is sent to you by the board. It aims at keeping our members updated on what is happening in your student union right now.
We are now through the first month of the academic year 10/11, and we
have now finished all of our introductory events.
This, fortunately, leads us to the next big event in our union: Our annual general
assembly. It will be held on Friday 22 October at 12.30. I hope to see
many of our members this day, as this is where you can get influence
in the student union, and use your vote as a member. It will include a
lunch in the first break. The other student unions at LIFE; FB, LSF
and FLS, will also have their general assembly that day, and afterwards
we are going to our Friday bar A-vej to celebrate the elections.
Remember that our office is open every Tuesday from 12-13, if anyone
should have questions or just want to talk to someone from the board.
And remember to keep an eye out for FN's member magazine 'FNAT'. Soon it
will be available in Vandrehallen. We try to publish an article or
two in English every time, and always try to make it useful for our
international students as well.
Andreas Carstensen
Chairman
Interest rally
The board of FN and FNIS would like to thank all participants in this
year's interest rally for a good and hopefully informative day. We
are very happy that so many people showed up and helped make it a
successful day and night.
The board would also like to thank FNIS for the work they put in
planning this day, as well as all the interest groups for showing up
and presenting their groups.

KUreatur 2010
Almost one month has passed since the 'rusture' (introduction trips) and it seems like most of the new students have already settled down on LIFE.
As a KUreatour instructor I can only say that we had an awesome trip to
Sweden. The students slept in home-made bivouacs, ate whole lambs made over
fire, explored their masculine/feminine sides, flew with Harry Potter,
had a fake math lecture and learned that the older students are not to
be trusted :D
Next month it will be the new students turn to arrange a trip, the
so-called 'efterrus'. The rus-ture (KUla LIFE & KUreatour) will be
re-united and re-live the niceness mood they experienced on the
'rustur'.

Kula LIFE 2010
KUla LIFE was one of the two 'rusture' (introduction trips) which FN is involved in. We
had a very nice couple of days in a forest near Næstved. Everybody
lived in bivouacs and if you wanted a bath, you had to take a
swim in the sea. Though we had some cold nights, I think everybody
looks back on the 'rustur' with a lot of good experiences.
