Lundbeck Foundation – research projects and visiting professor programme

Neuroscience is a core area for the foundation, but other areas of health sciences are also supported..

The foundation supports specific scientific projects within the health sciences and the corresponding natural sciences as well as non-biological projects in chemistry and physics.

Lundbeck Foundation divides health research at three levels:

  • basic research
  • applied (translational / clinical) research
  • prevention research / epidemiology / data research

Project proposals should not exceed DKK 10 million.

Deadline is 23 August 2011.

Lundbeck Foundation – Brain Prize 1 million euros

Grete Lundbeck European Brain Research Prize – ‘The Brain Prize’- is awarded to one or more scientists who have distinguished themselves by an outstanding contribution to European neuroscience.

The Prize recognize a highly original and influential advance in brain research. If several researchers have contributed significantly to this achievement, more than one individual may be nominated. Nominees can be of any nationality, but the research for which they are nominated must have been in Europe or in collaboration with researchers in Europe.

The € 1 million prize is a personal prize.

Deadline is 15 September 2011.
