Plans ready for new faculties

After the two proposals for a new faculty structure at the four ”wet” faculties have been in hearing, University management is now ready to prepare the final basis for decision for the University Board.

After the input phase, the proposal for a new faculty structure has been in hearing at the four “wet” faculties. On that background, Rector, Prorector and the University Director have started to prepare the final basis for decision, which is to be treated by the University Board on 15 December.¨

Hearing process complete

The faculty hearing process is now complete after involvement from the academic councils, consultation committees, study boards, advisory panels and others.

Management’s advisory panel, its dialogue forum and the Student Council have also participated in the hearing on the same grounds as the faculties, which have sent their hearing answers to Rector. The basis of the hearing process has been the two so-called main track documents (NAT-LIFE and FARMA-VET-SUND). These documents contain input and recommendations for the vision and organisation of the faculties from 2012 and beyond.
