Safe and healthy foods in a globalised world

Food requirements have never been stricter.

It must be safe to eat, export and import food from all corners of the world – it enhances our quality of life and improves our health and wellbeing.

Foods must also be produced under sustainable conditions which counter climate change, environmental problems, financial crises and a growing world population.

LIFE’s elite research area within food quality, food safety and zoonoses is focusing on how we can solve the challenges associated with developing and producing healthful and safe foods in a globalised world.

We asked anchorpersons Professor Hanne Ingmer and Professor Leif Skibsted seven sharp questions about food quality, food safety and zoonoses. Read their answers.
