The fifth international scientific conference “RURAL DEVELOPMENT 2011: in global changes“ - with open call for papers.
The conference will take place in Kaunas, Lithuania from 24 to 25 November 2011 and the venue of the conference will be at the Lithuanian University of Agriculture (www.lzuu.lt).
This conference is aimed at providing interdisciplinary scientific discussion, presenting new ideas for rural development processes in the context of global changes.
The main topics of parallel sessions:
1. The Opportunities and Challenges for Agriculture and Rural Development
2. Engineering and Environment of Biosystems
3. Adaptation of Forests and Forestry to Global Changes
4. Environmental Problems in Current Agricultural Technologies
5. Management of Water Resources in the Face of Global Warming and Life Quality
6. Rural Application of Advanced Geomatical Solutions
Important dates and deadlines:
June 15th, 2011 - pre-registration and paper submission;
September 15th, 2011 - notification of paper acceptance;
November 20th, 2011 - publishing of the conference proceedings.

All accepted papers will be included in the database of ISI Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Science, Social Science & Humanities and in Business Source Complete (EBSCO).
Registration fee should be paid until October 31st, 2011.
The fee will amount to: in case it is paid before September 30th - 100 EUR; in case it is paid after September 30th - 130 EUR; for accompanying person - 70 EUR.
(Registration fee covers the Conference proceedings, coffee breaks, lunch and evening-party expenditures. The costs of accommodation, cultural (social) programme and transport should be covered by the participants at the Conference)
