Gertrud Jørgensen has been temporarily appointed Director of Forest & Landscape in 2012

Head of Research, Professor with special responsibilities and architect Ph.D. Gertrud Jørgensen has been temporarily appointed Director of Forest & Landscape on 1 January 2012.

 

The temporary appointment is due to current Director Niels Elers Kochs temporary appointment as Dean at the Faculty of LIFE Sicences at the University of Copenhagen on 1 January 2012.

 

Gertrud Jørgensen has a degree in Architecture and a Ph.D. in urban planning. Since 1997 Gertrud has been Head of Research of the Department of Urban and Landscape Studies at Forest & Landscape. She has initiated the development of the landscape architect programme specialising in urban design, and she is Director of the Centre for Strategic Urban Research (Center for Strategisk Byforskning). Since 2007, Gertrud has also been Professor with special responsibilities within urban planning.
