LIFE’s international collaboration strengthened
LIFE has received DKK 1.5 million from the Villum Foundation Velux Visiting Professor Programme 2011-12. The financial support from the foundation is of great importance to LIFE as this grant enables us to attract highly qualified foreign professors who will be able to infuse research environments and students at all levels with new international knowledge and inspiration.
The grant means that over the next two years LIFE will be able to benefit from the presence of these six guest professors:

Host: Kristian Thorup-Kristensen, Department of Agriculture and Ecology – guest professor Dr. John Kirkegaard, CSIRO, Canberra
Host: Søren Bøye Olsen, Institute of Food and Resource Economics – guest professor Lec.Danny Campbell, Queens University Belfast
Jørgen Eilenberg, Department of Agriculture and Ecology – guest professor Prof. Ann Hajek from Cornell University, New York
Søren Bak, Department of Plant Biology and Biotechnology – guest professor Prof. René Feyereisen, INRA
