Niels Elers Koch, Director at Forest and Landscape, receives honorary doctorate

Director, dr.agro., Niels Elers Koch, Forest & Landscape, Life – Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen, has been appointed Honorary Doctor at Moscow State Forest University.

 

Moscow State Forest University is the leading forestry research institution in Russia, a country that has 25% of the world’s forest estate. The honorary doctorate has been awarded only ten times in the 92-year long history of the university.

 

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Board of Forest & Landscape, Nils Wilhjelm, states:

" – I am pleased to learn that our director has been given this important recognition from one of the best forestry research institutions in the world. We are striving to make Forest & Landscape an international ‘Centre of Excellence’ and this recognition indicates that we are well on our way."
