Who makes agreements with external examiners?

It is the responsibility of the course coordinator/the department to provide the external examiner/co-examiner for the examination.

 

It appears from the course description whether the exam involves an external examiner or a co-examiner – or possibly no external examiner/co-examiner.

 

External examiners my be selected among the existing corps of examiners (see the database of examiners) whereas co-examiners are appointed by the head of department.
