When can I use randomised marking?
Randomised marking may be used at all exams held under conditions similar to written exams in lecture rooms and where the written examination stands alone (normally examination numbers will have been given).
However, randomised marking may only be used at tests assessed by the teacher and a co-examiner (not when assessed by an external examiner) and where at least 25 non-blank papers have been handed in.
At exams with 150 or less examinees, 1/3 of the papers must be selected for marking by the co-examiner.
At exams with 150 or less examinees, 1/5 of the papers must be selected for marking by the co-examiner.
Moreover, the co-examiner must mark all papers assessed at 12 or as failed (-3, 00 and I).
If there appears to be general disagreement on the assessment of the selected papers, all other papers must be marked by the co-examiner or corrected by the examiner as agreed with the co-examiner.
