When do the students register for the exam?

Students who are still registered for a course one week into the block will automatically be registered for the exam.

Subsequently, the students may deregister from or register for an exam directly without taking any classes.

In the latter case, it is the student’s own responsibility to check with the course coordinator whether it is possible, for reasons of adequate subject knowledge, etc, to register for the exam without attending classes.

For courses that cover several blocks, registration for both classes and exams will take place in the first block of the course.

This is done to allow for courses with continuous assessment (Example: A course beginning in block 1 extends into four blocks and there is an exam after each block.

Registration for the exam takes place in block 1 with the option of registering and deregistering up to and including the third week of block 1.

This means that it is not possible to deregister from the exam immediately before the last exam in block 4).

The exam registration closes at the end the third week of the block. Only Study and Students’ Affairs may, in special cases, grant an exemption from the registration deadline.

Examination of students who have not registered is not allowed.

Special information for veterinary students

For the course 300026 Fjerkræsygdomme (Poultry Diseases) registration for exam does not take place until the block in which students take part in exercises.

This is due to the exam period not being known until the exercise plans are firm - i.e. long after the start of the lectures.

Special information about resitting exams

The students must actively register to resit exams. In deference to the planning of exams, Study and Students’ Affairs will only in very special cases be able to grant exemptions from the registration deadline.
