Special information about resitting exams

In the block structure, students resit exams in the following weeks:

Block 1 - calendar week 9

Block 2 - calendar week 26

Block 3 - calendar week 26

Block 4 - calendar week 45

The dates will be published in the exam schedule at the latest (see deadlines and registration dates on the homepage).

Please note that written exams in lecture rooms will automatically be changed oral exams if five people or less have registered for the exam.

You may keep the examination as a written examination in a lecture room if, for academic reasons, you consider this to be the best way to conduct the exam.

Please contact Study and Students’ Affairs with your request before the expiry of the registration deadline.

It may be technically impossible to resit some exams (for example exams in the form of continuous assessment). In this case, the most suitable alternative exam method may be used (except, however, written exam in a lecture room).

Immediately after the expiry of the registration period, Study and Students' Affairs will send out forms to the course coordinator (“course responsible”) that should be used to request changing the form of examination. Substantial changes to the exam method require approval by the Study Board.

The students are informed about the exam form decided in the exam plan. Here, they will, as always, be informed of time and place of written exams in lecture rooms.

The course coordinator (“course responsible”) will himself/herself inform the students registered about time, place and possible submission deadlines for other exams.

This may, for instance, be done via email to the student’s matriculation number (matriculation )
