Is there a need for written agreements (incl. joint financing agreements)?
BASICS
Yes – use the agreement templates
The type of agreement depends on the parties to the agreement. The agreement templates are based on the overall considerations and must be adapted to the individual project.
Fill out the template as well as you can and contact the relevant contact person.
Also in connection with self-financing
It is also recommended that written agreements be prepared when the student is self-financing, i.e. the student him or herself contributes/provides funding to cover the relevant expenses, including living expenses.
In this way, it is ensured that all parties are aware of the expenses associated with the programme and know who are to pay these expenses.
The reason for this is that LIFE invests a lot of time in the programme, and a huge loss is therefore incurred if PhD students leave the programme prematurely – also if this is for financial reasons.
