Mission

To internationalise is to be exposed to cultures and norms which differ from one's own.
Through this exposure greater knowledge, insight and understanding is gained.
Over the last 10 years, the Faculty of Life Sciences has worked systematically with internationalisation of education, degrees and research.
The goal is to ensure that we remain an internationally competitive university which is attractive to potential students, produces qualified graduates and attracts research funding.
The Faculty of Life Sciences also has a responsibility to share, exchange and produce knowledge with and for those parts of the world which face greater challenges than Denmark.
Our involvement in and commitment to developing countries stems from this responsibility, and the faculty's cooperation with developing countries dates back to the 1960's.
The faculty's strategic goals for internationalisaton are defined in our strategy for 2005-10 and are further described and in the Action Plan for Internationalisation and Development Cooperation.
