Research

Over the last decades, the Faculty of Life Sciences has developed from being a university with a focus on Danish agriculture, to a university which plays an active role more widely in the international research community.
Our seven core competences within research are of a high international standard with great industrial and societal impact now and in future.
In relation to development issues, our involvement has been international over the past half century - developing countries' need for knowledge and development has been an integral field of interest for many of the faculty's researchers.
Today about 10 per cent of our researchers work with developing issues.
