The Reseach and Innovation Office is commonly know as FIK (Forskning og Innovation).

 

FIK helps provide a strong framework for the research and innovation efforts at the Faculty of Life Sciences.

 

The office provides secretarial assistance to the Dean of the Faculty, the Vice-dean of Research, the Science and Innovation Strategy Committee and the academic groups under the Academic Council. 

 

The Research and Innovation Office handles the administrative procedures related to  strategies and the framework for research, including external funding and the Faculty's  cooperation with other universities and research institutions.  

 

FIK helps secure as many resources as possible for the Faculty's key research areas, makes sure that the contractual basis is in order, and that the Faculty complies with legal requirements both internally and in its cooperation with external partners.

Furthermore, the office is responsible for the records of Faculty Services and various cross-disciplinary services.
