International study environment award 2010
In 2010 at the annual Commemoration at the University of Copenhagen, LIFE's Student Associaion (DSR) was presented with the university's international study environment award. With a well organised intro programme, a mentor scheme (First Contact) and a special room for international students, the Life Students’ Association, DSR, has set new standards for a social study environment that does not distinguish between international and Danish students.
The award is accompanied by DKK 100,000 which DSR will use to further improve the international study environment, including the international room - the so-called "World room".
Student associations, social activities and sports
As an international student at LIFE, you can enjoy the oasis-like campus grounds, LIFE's modern and state-of-the-art facilities for research and education and, at the same time, become part of one of the best study environments in Denmark.
LIFE's Faculty Student Association (DSR) and many student clubs ensure that you can choose between a large number of social activities and sports and activities especially designed for international students are arranged by the Faculty Administration throughout the semester.
