The Faculty Students' Association (DSR)
In 2010 at the annual Commemoration at the University of Copenhagen, LIFE's Student Associaion (DSR) was presented with the university's international study environment award. With a well organised intro programme, a mentor scheme (First Contact) and a special room for international students, the Life Students’ Association, DSR, has set new standards for a social study environment that does not distinguish between international and Danish students. The award is accompanied by DKK 100,000 which DSR will use to further improve the international study environment, including the international room - the so-called "World room".
As a degree student at LIFE - Faculty of Life Sciences, you can join the Student Association (DSR) (in Danish only).
DSR represents all students at LIFE and plays an important role in student politics. Traditionally, students have a lot of influence and most boards and committees at the faculty include student representatives.
DSR is also the platform for a large number of social activities, student clubs and sports.
