Applying for housing subsidy (“boligstøtte”)

 

International students who hold a passport from an EU country may apply for housing subsidy via the Danish state. Students who receive scholarships, grants, or bursaries may not be eligible for the subsidy, however.

 

Please contact your local Borgerservice Center (you get the specific address by clicking on the blue bobble) to acquire the correct form and note that you are responsible for understanding all the rules prior to applying.

 

International students may loose their residency permit if it turns out that they are not entitled to receive the subsidy. The Housing Department will assist you in filling in the section specific to your accommodation; the remainder must be done by you.
