Media Cost

In Denmark all residents must pay the Danish media licence fee (“Licens”). “Licens” is a state fee that must be paid if you use information appliances in your home (such as computer, TV or radio). The licence fee costs DKK 1150 every 6 months (fewer months cost the same). You will receive a sign up sheet directly in the mail. You may also sign up at www.dr.dk, or talk to the Housing Department.

 

Note that this fee is not included in your rent, unless you stay in private accommodation.
