WebDAV for Windows XP

 

Open Windows Explorer.
Right-click ‘Hele netværket’ (Entire network).
Select ‘Opret forbindelse til et netværksdrev’ (Map network drive).

 

Remove the checkmark next to ‘Opret forbindelse igen ved logon’ (Reconnect at logon) to avoid connecting to the drive every time you open your PC.
Click ‘Tilmeld lagerplads online …’ (Sign up storage online …) at the bottom of the box.
Click ‘Næste’ (Next).
Click ‘Næste’ (Next) (‘Hvor vil du oprette netværksplaceringen?’ (Where do you want to create this network location?)).
Enter the path ‘https://netdrive.life.ku.dk/oneNet/Netstorage’ in the field.
Click ‘Næste’ (Next).
Enter your University of Copenhagen (KU) user name and password in the box – AND tick ‘Husk adgangskoden’ (Remember my password).
Click ‘Næste’ (Next).
Click ‘Udfør’ (Go).
Click OK to access the drive immediately.

The drive will then be displayed as ‘WebDAV’ – without a drive letter.

 

WebDAV for Windows 7 - hot fix

Due to an error in Windows 7, you must first install an error patch (hot fix) to be able to use WebDAV. Download the appropriate version for your computer:

Windows 7 – 32 bit – click here: Windows6_1_KB2555258_x86.msu

Windows 7 – 64 bit – click here: Windows6_1_KB2555258_x64.msu

Once you have retrieved the relevant version, install it by double-clicking it and clicking OK. The hot fix is now installed, and WebDAV is ready for use.

 

WebDAV for Win 7

Open Windows Explorer.
Right-click ‘Netværk’ (Networks).
Select ‘Opret forbindelse til et netværksdrev’ (Map network drive).
Check ‘Opret forbindelse igen ved logon’ (Reconnect at logon) – and
Check ‘Opret forbindelse med andre legitimationsoplysninger’ (Connect using different credentials).
Insert path in Folder: https://netdrive.life.ku.dk/oneNet/Netstorage -> see box below:

Click ‘Afslut’ (Finish).
Enter your University of Copenhagen (KU) user name and password.



Tick ‘Husk mine legitimationsoplysninger’ (Remember my credentials).
Click OK.

The WebDAV drive is now displayed as Z: (or another letter as selected above).
