Current curricula and transfer arrangements
Students admitted in September 2005 or later:
Students admitted in September 2005 or later (to both bachelor’s and
master’s degree programmes) are governed by the 2005-curricula (revised in
2006 and 2007) specified under the Education Executive Order (Executive
Order no. 338 of 6 May 2004 on bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in
universities).
However, the following applies to the BSc Programmes in Horticulture:
- Students admitted in September 2007 will follow the curricula for
“bacheloruddannelsen i Hortonomi”
- Students admitted in September 2005 or September 2006 will follow the
Transfer agreement for the BSc Programme in Horticultural Sciences.
Students admitted before September 2005:
Students admitted before September 2005 are governed by the regulations
specified under the old education executive orders.
Students admitted before September 2005 have been transferred to the
current 2005-curricula. Transition rules for the individual degree
programmes (the transfer arrangements) have been drawn up for the transfer.
The transition rules ensure that the transfer to the 2005-curricula does
not extend the time of study for the individual student. The transfer
arrangements include rules on how old courses can substitute new courses.
The 2005-curricula were drawn up under both the old education executive
orders and the new education executive order. The few areas in which the
regulations vary because of different provisions under the old executive
orders and the new executive order appear in the individual transfer
arrangements.
Curricula regulated by the Executive Order no. 694 of 30 August 1993 on
the natural sciences degree programmes in universities etc.
